South Island PSD (The District) would like to remind its customers that the District’s water sources do not include water from another water utility. Any notices issued by other districts, requesting limiting irrigation use, would only be issued directly by South Island PSD.The District still encourages responsible lawn care and requires its customers to follow the Town of Hilton Head’s Irrigation ordinances; Hilton Head Island Municipal Code, Sections 17-10-211 and 17-10-313, which may be found on the Town of Hilton Head’s website.
